Besides being creatures of stunning color variations, the butterfly can be symbolic of many things. Freedom is probably the first thing that comes to mind; freedom to fly from flower to flower and enjoy the sunlight. The changes the butterfly has gone through in its lifetime also symbolizes changes in our human lives. Sometimes this change comes in the form of intellectual gain and we see things in a different way; or change from being a child into a mature adult with wisdom.

An often observed occurrence of the caterpillar is that which forms the cocoon and in turn produces the butterfly. This metamorphosis can be compared to the life change experienced by the Christian. When a life decision has been made to believe in God and accept Jesus Christ, a metamorphosis takes place changing that person in dramatic ways. The Bible says we are new creatures. 

Due to this significance, butterflies have held deep meaning for me, resulting in my collection of butterflies in many forms. Butterflies were evident throughout my home in the form of pictures, note pads, brass wall decorations and in any form I could find them. Therefore when this website was developed, having a theme page for butterflies was essential. It is our objective to find a comprehensive selection of quality butterfly products for all who share this love.
